As it is with most things, it actually feels good to be able to share these moments with others.
I'm sure your mother had her reasons, but I don't understand why so many couples keep miscarriages to themselves. It makes it much more difficult to deal with when it has become internalized.

My Mom did not tell me until I was 26 years old, that I should actually have had a sibling and how much she had longed for having that baby, too.
