I have to say, I'm really proud to see so many prefer to win a Nobel Peace Prize over an Oscar or a Grammy - which kinda makes me wish I had chosen the Nobel instead of the Espy for Best Athlete!
In my defense, my line of thinking was that my eventual contribution to society would have come by way of using my athleticism to grab Osama Bin Laden by his beard and drag his sorry toosh straight to the White House front door.
But that's me.
Out of curiosity though, I would like to hear from the other societal-contributors out there about what you would do to win the Noble Peace Prize.

I wouldn't complete for or accept any of them. Pretty much a waste of time IMHO.
Hey IMHO,
You're certainly entitled to your opinion.
However, I would argue that winning a Nobel is hardly a waste of time.
Wade, to be honest, I just picked the Nobel so that it would be something worthy of winning.
Secretly, I'd like to have enough talent to win an Oscar or Grammy, but we know that I don't-you know the family I came from...Kelly played the triangle wrong for crying out loud!
Come on! It would be great to win an Espy! You've seen the type of play you'd have to make to be nominated...
Which sport would you want to win it in? I'm thinking an unlikely dash from behind a large pack of riders, in a head-to-head sprint to victory, during the last couple hundred yards of the Tour de France might put a pretty big smile on your face.
Maybe you'd rather throw a speedo on and burn through a pool for a world record?
I'd like to win it in football w/some wild Barry Sanders/Reggie Bush type 150 yard touchdown run.
I've saved the world half a dozen other times answering this question in the past (choosing the Nobel Prize). Today, I want an Espy!
Don't deny your true feelings Luke (Wade).

You know the nobel prize comes with a huge cash prize? It's not just a trophey! tee hee
Hey Shannon,
I would say that you would be a shoe-in for the nursing equivalent of the Oscar!
Blood, guts, vomit and the like were all good enough reasons to keep from following my dad's footsteps through medical school.
But you seem to handle it all like a pro!
As for Kelly playing the triangle? I think you just gave me a great idea for a Kelly-ism!

Hey Butch,
I've definitely had visions of the Tour de France - but more of just finishing it much less actually winning it.
The downside to winning the TdF is that once you step off the podium you're accused of winning only because you used steriods - le stinking French!
As for swimming, we already have one guy around here wearing a speedo - isn't that enough?
Thanks for stopping by,

Hey Shannon,
The way I heard it is that my mom (flute) and your dad (clarinet) were quite the talented band people! I'm just wondering why I'd never heard about Kelly playing the triangle!?

Wade, I chose the Pulitzer Prize because MY book would be about how to win all the other awards!!!
Hey Amy,
Rick playing the clarinet? Ha! These days he spends more time playing the air guitar! I still need to go to a concert with Rich & Steph so I can get some good video of them 'jammin' out' to show Tate when he gets older!
Yeah, Kelly's triangle story is a pretty good one. I won't steal her thunder but I will say that you wouldn't think there's much difference between the 1st & 3rd beat and the 2nd & 4th beat until a misguided triangle is involved!

Hey Laura,
It'll be a New York Times Best Seller for sure! Can I have an autographed copy?
Thanks all for stopping by,

Hey EDM Chick,
Sorry I'm just now getting back to you!
You can put the cash prize in the Wellwaddyaknow Category - I didn't know that.
Apparently it's at least a million $$. Hmmm, I freed a goat that was stuck in a wire fence not too long ago. I wonder what the Swedish would think about that as a contribution to society!
Thanks for stopping by,
