Cycling Rule #1: Don't wear headphones while cycling - it makes it hard to hear other cyclists, cars or large dogs giving chase.
Since I don't listen to music while riding I'm reduced to singing songs in my head - which usually isn't too bad.
Unfortunately for me, I couldn't get this song off auto-repeat during my ride today!
By hey! At least it was the "U2" version!

I'm not a parent, but I've watched and listened to more of my fair share of Wiggles and Blue's Clues music that I'll be soooo ready to belt it all out when I have a kid. I've been walking down the hall at work and realized I was humming Wiggles tune. The ones that center around counting tend to get stuck in my head the most bc I think or say a number and it pops in my head.
The other day I had part of the planets song from Katelyn's Blue's Clues radio stuck in my head...it was the line that says, "and Uranus spins on its side..." ha!
Hey EDMC,
See, this just proves what an awesome aunt you are! Any time I have my niece/nephew with me I subject them to my music - Beatles, U2, etc. If I'm in a good mood then I'll permit the occaisional Wierd Al.
As for Tate, I'm putting off Wiggles, Blues Clues and the like as long as I can. Once I do make the final plunge I fully expect to be fully emersed in 'beat-me-over-the-head' nursery rhymes.
Having said that, Trout Fishing In America is a folksy children's group that has certain appeal to adults. It's kinda like musical Pixar . . . minus the really cool animation, of course!
The good thing singing Trout Fishing is that your students aren't likely to know any of thier songs in case they catch you singing outloud.
Thanks for stopping by,
W
I have the song stuck in my head now! Thanks a lot Wade.
Hey J & J,
Remember the bully on The Simpsons named Nelson who would make fun of the other kids and say "Ha-ha!"
Well . . . Ha-ha!
