To The Guy Driving The Yellow Penske 18-Wheeler On Hwy 377 in Stephenville Today . . .

1. Whatever I did, I'm really sorry!

2. But could it have been any worse than flipping someone off with both hands while driving a big rig?

3. Did Penske train you how to steer while giving someone the double-bird or it that something you just learn from experience?

4. By the way, I happened to notice the 1-800 number on the back of your trailer as you flew by me!

5. Have a nice day!

I guess you weren't the eleventh vehicle he flew by on the road that day?

Ahhh, my old stomping grounds. Stephenville is a great town. I'm sure the guy in the big rig was from Brownwood.

Boone got flipped off twice by a guy driving a motorcycle just last night (without a helmet). The driver actually turned around to flip us off. Nice. Also, Boone calls the numbers on the back of trucks driving dangerously, too. I can't tell you how many numbers I have had to write down while he drives!

Hey mdlg,

Nope, pretty sure he was from Stephenville! Those people are nuts!

By the way, if you've already heard - Kelly and I are sorry. If you haven't heard - call me.

Hey Kate,

Someone once said that sticking up your middle finger is the equivalent of showing someone your IQ. That's kinda corny, but since your motorcyle friend wasn't wearing a helmet it's kinda obvious there's not much intelligence at play there!

Boone and I should start a website that posts companies with wreckless drivers!

Oooo, that'll show 'em!

Thanks for stopping by,

W

Okay, okay now... I have to say in the millions, and I do mean millions of times that I drove from Bwd to DFW and back... Stephenville was by far the death trap of 377. I have never seen crazier drivers! And I learned how to drive and got my license in the DFW area, so I've seen my share of crazy. It's as if Stephenville grew so fast that the "locals" are still driving as if it's a two lane country road, but newsflash... it's not :) Thank you for the laugh Wade! Your on the road stories seriously crack me up!

Hey Laura,

I would have never thought that about Stephenville but it's so true!

Just yesterday I was cruising down that stretch between Dublin and Stephenville and I noticed the guy in front of me shaking his fist at an 18-wheeler. I never saw what happened (or if the bird was actually issued) but I remember thinking, "Sheesh! What is with the people around here!"

I'm hoping the Bolivians are better than the Stephenvillers!

TFSB,

W
