Desert = a dry, sandy place
Dessert = sweets after a meal
It was at Fenton's, Aunt Barbara. And, we didn't even finish it all...between the five of us!

The desert and dessert is very hard to learn for foreign speakers, because all the time you use the words you have to think first, which one you really need here :-D
